Samuel Kolade, PhD student from the Department of Environmental Hydrology and Microbiology at the Zuckerberg Institute for Water Research at Ben Gurion University of the Negev, based in Israel, presented the work he is doing on PFAS to over 100 participants from industry, policy makers and the scientific community at the Israeli Association for Water Resources Annual Conference during its 2024 edition. The event tool place at Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot in Israel on the 18th June.

Samuel was able to present the results of our studies in SCENARIOS project exploring PFAS transport in the unsaturated zone from lab-scale to field scale.  Moreover, since our study included exploring PFAS contamination at environmental sites in Israel and other strategic locations in Europe, we were able to provide a holistic outputs from the various sites. The audience was extremely impressed, and the team received positive feedback after  the presentation.

From SCENARIOS we greatly appreciate the efforts from all the researchers institutions as well all our academic institutions and also we admire the hard work from the private sector.
